Ubuntu Contributors' Guide

I spent a few minutes this morning writing the comprehensive Ubuntu Contributors' Guide.

Here it is in all its glory:

Yes, that's really all there is to it. It's simple.

As obvious as this seems, there are people (names withheld) that will want you to believe otherwise. I'll elaborate in a future post.

When you encounter them, please forward a copy of this flow chart. Tell them Randall sent you.

nice diagram. I've been forced to think deeply about my role in Ubuntu-Land. I'll let you know if I can progress past drooling on my keyboard here which is where I think most Ubuntu-Land people are. I stand condemned.

"The longest march begins with the first step." You've already done much for Ubuntu, Wayne. I know you'll do even more in the future because you're wired that way.

I like the sentiment behind this cart, many people just don't understand that in FOSS, they can just go ahead and do what they think is important.

However, just one minor nitpick: I don't think people should « Stop » after they « Do it! ». Instead, they probably should continue doing it. ;)

Nice refinement. Thank you!

This is awesome. Being focused is key. If you're not helping, then you're not helping :P

I sense the beginning of another flow chart.
